G&L and Sons Renovations wants its customers to feel safe and comfortable before, during and after you hire us. We have gone to the BBB to perform an accreditation review and continuously monitor our company for continued compliance and for support of BBB services to the public.
GuildQuality has assisted G&L and Sons Renovations in the past with working to educate and drive us to be better at what we do. Our customers were surveyed by a 3rd party customer satisfaction company to tell us how the company was performing in the eyes of our customers for all aspects of the home remodeling projects.
This online platform has become one of the best resources for homeowners when they are looking to remodel or build their home. The finished project photos provide homeowners and professionals with inspiration, design ideas and types of projects we as professionals do. Houzz offers the ability for homeowners to ask professionals for assistance on an issue or question and source finishes for your home. Their online store has so much to choose from. G&L and Sons clients can use the Houzz idea book feature to show us what they like or a style they would like incorporated into their project. Every year we work to provide our customers with the best service and design.
As a home remodeling professional, we take pride in what we do and like to share with others. The annual Best of Houzz awards recognize the top-rated home professionals and most popular designs on Houzz by category and area across the country and around the world. We are proud to announce that G&L and Sons Renovations, LLC has been awarded the Bronze Medal for Best Kitchen Remodeler in the Best of Essex Reader's Choice 2019 Awards.
G&L and Sons Renovations entered and won the North Jersey Chapter Contractor of the Year Award in 2011 for Residential Kitchen over $100,000. G&L and Sons brought in their architect, George Held and Associates, AIA to provide architectural drawings for the project. The entire 1st and 2nd floor were demo’d to the exterior brick walls in order to have straight walls and floors joists that would support the long spances because of the large open kitchen on the 1st floor and the master bathroom and sitting area on the 2nd floor. Clive Christian Furniture supplied and installed the custom cabinetry throughout the space. All the original window sash ropes were replaced so the original windows would work as they did when they were installed and weatherstripping installed. Hidden (invisible) speakers were installed in the ceiling and covered over with mud so they wouldn’t be seen and still produce excellent sound. Custom mouldings were fabricated to match the existing mouldings in the home. Beautiful natural stone tile was installed throughout the large space in a diamond pattern.
G&L and Sons Renovations, LLC is proud to announce that a closet design on which we collaborated with California Closets in NJ was featured in the wedding-focused issue of the January 2020 nFocus Nashville magazine. This walk-in closet featured a special cabinet to display a wedding gown.
On September 5, 2019, a traditional Montclair, NJ mudroom by G&L and Sons Renovations was featured in an article by Bryan Anthony of the Houzz editorial staff as one of 50 marvelous mudrooms with ample storage.
In 2014, we began a full home renovation for a client in Montville, New Jersey. Kimberly L. Jackson of The Star-Ledger wrote a feature article about this project. You can read the story and see the portfolio of before and after photographs of this Montville project on NJ.com.
