Meet Our Team
Chris Caputo
Partner
Chris coordinates the design and field work to create the final product for all of our projects. He enjoys seeing the before and after of a project and knowing the clients love their new space.
Chris obtained Certified Project Manager certification from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. He also holds the National Association of the Home Builders Certified Graduate Remodeler and Certified Green Professional.
Additionally, Chris had the privilege to work with his dad who started the company and work alongside and learn from someone who truly loved what he did. He has built two houses from the ground up and has a wealth of knowledge from his years in the industry. After more than 30 years in business, Chris is proud to say G&L is still family owned and operated.
In his free time, Chris loves beach vacations in the Caribbean and spending time on his boat.
David Caputo
Partner
David helps run the day to day business with his brother, Chris. When he is not doing that, he is meeting with prospective homeowners to bring their project from concept to the production stage.
Over the years, David has held many officer positions within the North Jersey National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) chapter. He also obtained two NARI certifications – Master Certified Remodeler and Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler.
In the beginning of this career, David enjoyed working with his hands on client projects and now he enjoys helping clients in the stages before the actual construction starts. He finds it very fulfilling to see a completed project and how a small or large remodel changes the way a family uses their home.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time on the golf course and being outside at the beach or in mountains. He also loves to spend time with his family and dogs.

Herb compliments our team in both his 35+ years of experience in the industry and his analytical approach to the details of a project. Herb has knowledge and expertise in all aspects of building and remodeling.
The Cremer family lives in a house that Herb built with his own hands in 1987! Now that's what we call expertise and knowledge.
Ian Pacy
Carpenter
Ian is a Lead Carpenter and loves working with his hands to create tangible, beautiful works of art for homeowners to enjoy for years to come. He has traveled the country for over 30 years learning from other master carpenters.
Outside of work, Ian is a devoted family man that enjoys fishing and sports.
Devin Diaz
General Laborer
Devin handles prep work at our work sites before construction begins and maintains site safety and cleanliness. Additionally he has the privilege to gain first hand knowledge of the industry to grow his carpentry skills and better understand the home building process.
Devin also takes an interest in historical documentaries, video games and cooking.
Michael Taylor
Estimator
Michael ran his own residential remodeling and construction firm for 17 years prior to joining the G&L team. His experience allows us to accurately estimate pricing and timelines for all of our projects.
Outside of work, he is a husband and father who additionally cares for his family's three dogs. Michael loves to read and learn about world history.
